Night wakes

My daughter wakes 6-9x a night. She tends to self soothe back to sleep - but can anyone suggest how we may stop the wakings? Do babies that “sleep through” have 0 wakings at all? Also - the dummies roll out of her cot. How can we keep them in as I go In and fetch them out from under the cot. There’s 5-6 in the cot to start with.

My little girl has slept through since 3 months but she still has times she wakes up just like I do but she puts herself back to sleep. It's a normal sleep cycle to wake

My baby has been sleeping through for the last couple of weeks, he's nearly 6 months old now. I think he does wake up sometimes because I'll hear him stir or yawn but then he self soothes to sleep very quickly. I only interfere if he's crying. Sometimes even he will let out little cry and fall back asleep. In the past I used to run to him as soon as he made any noise but now I wait to see if he will self sooth (obviously not when he's crying). I think me interfering less allowed him to get a better night's sleep to be honest.

@Jurate I just wish she would sleep. She’s in her own room. I watch the monitor ~ she’s awake / not crying quite often. She’s LOUD tho and I can’t go back off. Her dummies end up on the floor. Then she wakes early too. I keep reading so much information it’s becoming a contradictory blur - put them to bed early / take them later - 2 naps / 3 naps - wake windows - total amount of hours awake or sleeping in the day Why won’t she just SLEEP

Every baby is different and there's a lot of information online where people preach about how you should do things but it's all based on one isolated case (they probably just had an easy baby). I think the main guidance I seem to find is to have a routine and stick to it and let them learn self soothing. Some babies also just need less sleep. One thing I found, we had a week where he started waking at 5 am but then would be tired again an hour later. I thought maybe he's cold so I put the heating on for an hour during the night and that actually helped, he was back at his 6.30 wake up time. There's also a good group on Facebook called baby sleep training support where you could ask if there's anything you could potentially tweak to help her sleep longer. They have actual sleep consultants on there so might be helpful.

@Jurate thank you 💤💤💤😴😴😴
