Car seat check
Where can I get our car seat checked in Birmingham?
I feel like my girl slouches in hers and I am constantly panicked when we are in the car because of that.
Sometimes she looks comfortable, sometimes her chin is against her chest and I have to park to sit her properly again...

Hi, Halfords have ninimal training on car seats and actually give very poor advice! They dont stock the safest car seats either. I highly recommend the facebook group “car seat safety UK”. I’ve learnt so much being on this group! You can post a picture of LO in car seat and they will advise on how to get a better fit ☺️ its soooo helpful & lots of advice on safest car seat once baby has outgrown infant carrier!
Safe journey car seats not in Birmingham but not too far in Leamington. Only place that I know of locally that does ERF seats x

I think Halfords can check them for you. Make sure you’re following the guidelines for having the newborn insert in or out depending on how old your girl is. When you put her in, her bum should be all the way back and shoulder straps should sit behind her just below her shoulders. Check you’ve got the backrest at the right height for her too x
