I’m also planning on getting a buggy board for my toddler since he will be almost 2.5 years old when the baby comes. He’s a tall boy so I feel that he would outgrow the double pram quite quick. We also rely on public transport quite a bit and I feel like it would be a nightmare to get on and off the bus
Im not planning to get a double pram, my LG will be nearly 2.5 when baby arrives, but she's also still going to be at nursery when I'm on mat leave so I just can't see enough situations to warrant it. I think buggy board/sling will work for most situations
I am going to get a double just for long walks etc really so my toddler has the option to sit and chill if needed, the ickle bubba Venus prime looks amaze it comes with a newborn cocoon carry cot thing which you can remove so you can use it as just 2 regular seats too. Heard great things from my friend about this! Xx
I’m planning on using a sling for the newborn as much as possible, and keeping the pram for my toddler. He’ll be 20 months when baby arrives so not ready for walking everywhere yet. And thinking to get a buggy board around March for when he turns 2 and the weather gets a bit warmer x
@Lauren this is what I have bought. My toddler will only just be 20m when baby arrives, so it's ideal for us. Reasonably priced too 😊
I’d say go onto facebook marketplace place and have a look what doubles prams there is out there just to see btw I bought my duo pram off there and it cost much less than if it was brand new but I recommend the bugaboo donkey 2 it’s perfect, comes with 2 seats and a cocoon for baby but you can also turn it into a single pram as well if you want your toddler to walk and also when you turn it into a single you have little side basket you can use as well
I’m getting a double pram but my girl will only be 18 months when he’s born
I have bought the Cosatto Wow XL so that I can use it as a single or double. It also has a built in buggyboard for when I’m using it as a single. My toddler enjoys walking but also gets tired and likes a pram nap still. X
