Apple juice and water

My pediatrician gave me the okay to give watered down prune juice to help with his constipation

Same here. Watered down apple juice. Helps her poop too.

We just do apple juice. And sometimes we will add water if it has more sugar in it

I don’t yet but I did hear that pear juice is a great option. Lots of nutrients and a little less sweet. I would still mix with water and definitely double check my info with your pediatrician. 🥰

My son likes pear juice. He is 1 so we don't usually dilute it a ton

Watered done zero sugar juice. She's been drinking it since she was 7 months

No and don’t plan to give juice. If he does ever wants juice later on in life, I plan to do orange juice. All he drinks is water and milk.

Orange and apple. Both diluted.

@Elannah same.. he dentist told me it was worst for teeth than chocolate or ice cream.

@Alejandra yeah I just don’t see why kids need juice. I understand kids having a sweet treat every once in a while but idk too many kids drink more juice than water imo lol

No. I give him only water and plan to do it for as long as possible. Juices are very sugary as they keep all the fructose from the fruit but throw all the fiber of the fruit. It's not even good for us as adults. Even worse with all the juices they sell full of additives and added sugar,...

@Elannah its a good source of hydration for kids. Since little ones don't always understand why we want them to drink water. It can also help with fiber and cough repression

It’s nice when they want like a fun little drink with dinner like I do something b it also is good when constipated. But they usually only have water. I think if someone only gives water to their kids then they aren’t gonna know any better and will actually drink the water

they don't need it.. if I feel like she's dehydrated and I want her to drink, I'll add a little juice to encourage it but other then that it's a substitute for fresh fruit which is harder for my family to afford at the moment, it provides vit c which helps her absorb iron at meals only.

@Darian yeah, my son can get fiber and all that from other things. He doesn’t need juice. If they are never offered it, they wouldn’t know it even exists lol

@Elannah very true. I only meant thay it makes a good source of those things. But like all things if they never experience it, it doesn't really exist

We gave my baby unsweetened tea and juice she loves it I don't so sugar with the kids

@Kristian same!
