Not sleeping
Its 11 at night and my 5 month old doesn't want to sleep. She is tired and sleepy but keeps crying just to keep herself wide awake. She is exclusively BF and had poop a bit green today.
What should i do? Should let her cry? Please suggest something to save my sanity!

Put her back on the breast and rock her to sleep. She’ll get there, just overtired and will take a bit more time / patience. I feel you tho.. it’s tough. Don’t worry about the green poop - very normal, just means she had more foremilk through the day and less of the fatty milk that sticks to their gut
@Tash is having more foremilk okay? Is there something i can do about it
@Aspen i tried. But agter all the efforts she ended up crying and finally sleeping after all that

She is probably just over tired and that’s making it hard for her to fall asleep … When babies get over tired they are basically in fight or flight mode and release adrenaline so even though they are so tired it’s very hard for them to fall asleep … You could also try a little more milk and see if that helps her fall asleep
