If you used to rock/hold baby to sleep then transfer, how did you stop and what do you do now?

Apart from falling asleep in car we have always held her with dummy and she usually is asleep in 1-10 mins which is amazing and to be honesy I dont mind too much especially now its only twice per day plus bed time, as I do love the cuddles but will obviously need to stop at some point lol. If I lie her down in cot awake she just plays. Any advice thank you x

Exact same situation , following

Same here too- following xx

I used to rock my baby to sleep till last month, he fight so hard and it took hour I just can't anymore I switched to spend time in bed with him cuddle and low-key play, when it about time to his bed time mostly he having milk I put him on his bed, turn on his lullaby ( same song every night so he know it time for bed which I don't think this is much relavent) Put him down to bed and rubbing his head and sing to him first couple days he fighting and I notice he need to rubbing his hand on something to fall to sleep so I give him some of his doll I be there the whole time till he passed out ( took around 15-20 mins ) And that s no more rocking Some said you pad his bottom and it soothing baby to sleep cuz it feel like mom heartbeat but it not working for my baby he thoughts I was playing 😅

P.s. I sitting with him to put him to sleep he will roll around a bit till he settle, can't do lying down cuz he gonna crawl all over me and start pulling my hair

@Aline thank you so much!!

Try timing your baby I think at this age they just too excited with everything , keep the room dark and comfort but let them go around do whatever they want, mine sometime insisted to do lot of clapping and standing and rocking the bed before sleep for like 15 mins it not long till their battery run out haha It also make him sleep better too
