Bath time tips

I hate bathing my son he’s 7 months old old and since becoming mobile he’s all over the tub trying to stand and grab things. I’m so scared he’s going to hurt himself. How are y’all managing bath time with your little ones?

Honestly I’m in the same boat, still trying to figure out the best route to bathe a mobile baby. I’m moving soon so I’m going to try just a bath mat with toys and my baby loves crawling.

I’m not sure if this is the route you want to go but we got our son one of those chairs they sit in the tub with? It lets him sit up but he’s strapped in for the most part and can’t swim around or stand. However if you want to clean his bum you still have to take him out of it. Idk if thats what you would like but I’d say it is helpful!

I have the Frida baby bathtub and although my baby tries to stand up and move around in it I’m still able to clean her parts and body … I would def say maybe try putting toys in the bath w him ? I have a little whale that splashes my baby and she loves it I also bought small little bath toys from target they were $1 each they keep her entertained after I put her in the bath

I suggest letting your little one play for a bit before trying to wash. My baby is 7 months as well and he loves bath time. He sits and plays with his numbers and letters. I got it off Amazon for $6 they stick to the wall and tub so it’s great for him to grab as well. I let him splash for a little then once he’s tired I wash him up and he goes straight to bed after the night feed.

i get in with her 😅 so much easier plus i end up having time to shower right before so bonus points!

I put the tub in our big bathtub sit on the border of the tub and wash him

My son fell over in the bath today and scared the shit out of himself, he swallowed some water and cried but he was okay! I calmed him down and we resumed bath time play. This isn’t the first time, he’s hit his head on the tub a handful of times. He’s always climbing up on the side and trying to get up, he’s incredibly mobile. I just let him learn and monitor, nothing bad has ever happened and it always ends up okay. I think we make it scarier than it actually is in our minds, that parental instinct to protect
