Transitioning to a toddler bed
Guys ! How do you do it? My 2 year old is currently still in a crib. I put one of the sides down just to test the waters and it was awful! Every second he was coming out 😭 We’re usually in a good routine at nighttime so I was surprised it was so hard. It’s not even a toddler bed yet. Any recommendations?

@Jade my daughter will be 10 months tomorrow and we’re getting a toddler bed and turning our extra bedroom into her room. I can’t wait!! How did you transition? We cosleep and I’ve been working on getting her to sleep and then laying on her own for however long she naps. It’s been good. It’s night time I’m worried about. Any advice?
It’s going to be a tough transition but that’s why we didn’t cosleep so I apologize I am no help there

We transitioned at 9 months for our baby girl. As soon as she could crawl around and her room was baby safe. She’s almost two now, and when she wakes up she has her own space to do what she does for the extra 30 mins of sleep we can get. Worth it
