One side pain

Hey mamas! I’ll be 3 weeks PP on Tuesday. When I was in the hospital after surgery I was having intense pain on my right side. They told me it was probably just my uterus radiating pain. However that pain has come back with full force. It’s only on one side, above my incision and it hurts to even touch. It hurts tremendously, but it isn’t swollen, and there isn’t any sign of infection. I do have my follow up appointment tomorrow thankfully, but I was just wondering if anyone else dealt with this kind of pain Post op?

Right side like in your stomach?

@Savanah so it’s like right above my incision on the right side, so I guess maybe lol. My incision is on my groin area.

Could it be a UTI?

Are you having high BP or swelling in your legs? Upper right abdomen pain could also be a sign of pre eclampsia. If you can, check your BP and I would get checked if it’s hurting a lot just to be on the safe side!

I had pain on one side after my c section. I went to the maternity day unit and prescribed me with strong painkillers and eventually went without me even realising

I had something similar and my OB said he tied me up tight and I was feeling that pain
