Help with sleep!!!!

@Emily Its soul destroying isn’t it. My little one is a year next week and she hasn’t slept since the day she was born 😭

Honestly we only have so much patience and capacity to do this . My LO is 10 months. I can get him in his cot for an hour or two but it’s clearly just a nap. He ends up in our bed every night. I’ve been in bed an hour so far already tonight because he woke up. Bless you - it is hard. I want him to feel safe and comfortable though. Can’t afford to fork out on sleep training either :(

A consistent wake up time changed the game for us massively!

I started to use the sleep coach app 3 days ago and though you have to pay a subscription I’m already convinced it’s worth it as I’ve doubled my total sleep I’m getting each night eg 2 and a bit hours to over 5 in decent blocks. Doesn’t involve letting them cry it out etc main thing is helping you figure out baby’s natural sleep cycle and when they’re likely to need naps and prevent becoming overtired. Well worth a try if you’re at your wits end like I was.

My little girl is one on Friday and never slept well 🤪 I have no advice, just here for moral support as you’re not alone!

I’ve just bought a plan from Calm & Bright though am yet to implement it. I’m planning on doing the most gentle approach ‘the scenic route’ as been so on the fence with sleep training but their Trustpilot reviews are amazing!
