I fed from both sides through the night. Admittedly I did fall asleep with him in the middle but never deeply as you are aware they’re there. Personally I’d say no real harm in just doing one boob overnight if it’s a safety thing xx
Like Lizeth said, you can feed from both breasts while laying on one side. You just have to twist and dangle your boob over their mouth basically

I do a variety of things depending on my energy level. Our bed is small and my husband isn't a very aware sleeper so I don't ever want her between us as I often fall asleep feeding. Sometimes I will just feed from one boob if I'm very tired. Sometimes I wake my husband up and make him swap sides of the bed with me. Sometimes I will turn us around and lie with my head at the foot of the bed to feed from the other side, I can move the pillow too so basically just sleeping the other way round. I've not really managed to crack feeding from both boobs on the same side even though I have quite big boobs, she doesn't get a good latch and it's not comfortable for me.
I’m a small B, was basically flat before breastfeeding🫣, and I can feed from both boobs without swapping sides! I have to almost turn onto my tummy, it’s hard to explain the position but once you’ll get it you’ll know 😅 You can also just stick to one side and you’ll be fine! Have a muslin cloth nearby to catch any leakage from the other boob, or use a haakaa or wearable pump (turned off) to collect it. Your body will regulate your supply whichever you choose ☺️ Also, I wouldn’t personally recommend it as 4 months feels too little for me, but apparently you can have baby in the middle from 4 months as long as dad isn’t too heavy of a sleeper and is aware of safe sleep rules x

I feed my son from only the one boob for the whole night, but I basically make sure that boob has a good amount of milk(never too full though cause that’s uncomfy) before the night feeds.
Thanks all! I managed feed from my other boob. It took some twists 😂 but she did it! Thanks so much! I do try leave the ‘good side’ boob for night time. Time it right but it’s good to be able to now use both. Thanks again 🥰
What size bed do you have? I have a king so when my baby is in the middle he isn't super close to my husband. You can also feed from both breasts without switching sides. I'm started doing that around 5ish months. You just twist your body more for the top breast.
