Definitely go to a&e if its unbearable. The discharge sounds odd, not like endo. Want to get it checked out. Also to counter what was said above. I have stage 3 endo and the mirena iud is the only thing that really helped me with my horrific endo pain and I really recommend it. Clearly there are risks like it coming out but it's rare. I had a baby October 23 too! Also get on GP to do you a referral to bsge centre for endo diagnosis. Shocking they put you through a laparoscppy with a non specialist. Doing surgery for nothing it's completely against NiCE/NHS guidelines. You're entitled to be referred to any bsge centre you want. I'm seen under uclh in London they give me a call every 6 months to check how I'm doing but haven't really seen me to examine me since 2018 as the mirena helped so much and I didn't want more surgery.
@Alex I looked at your profile and saw you live in Northolt and so do I. I’ve seen my nearest accredited hospital is central middlesex. At uclh, who is the surgeon. I looked at what to do to be referred and it says I need to give the hospital and the name of the surgeon. Also wondering how long it took you to be seen. When I was being seen at Northwick Park it took over a year to actually get the surgery and then I was just discharged from gynaecology all together
It's very common I've found from talking to other women who have Endometriosis that the IUD can cause more pain. When I had mine it horrific it ended up getting dislodged and embedded in my utrine wall. I would advise getting seen to check all is in the right place.
