Banging head

Does anyone else’s baby do this ? He does it for hours and hours on a night waking up every 2 hours or so, it’s at the point where he’s getting bruises as he moves to the side of his cot. We have a paediatrician appointment on Wednesday but would be nice to go in with some insight, we thought it was an ear infection at first and got antibiotics which stopped it for a week but then he started again and the dr said there is no infection present now . We’re on the highest dose of lanzoperazole for his weight and have been for some time Thank you

Oh bless him. I don’t have much insight to give with it but is he asleep when he does it ?xx

Yes! My LO has terrible reflux and also bashes his head against his crib too. We have an appointment with the GP tomorrow but they aren’t too knowledgeable about these things!

@Amy yes but it eventually wakes him up :( x

@Megan-Louise no it took us a private appointment to finally get him in the right place with refux medication so I don’t even know if this is that or a different matter :( I hope you get the help you need tomorrow xx

@Ella I’m so sorry to hear that, it’s so hard - we’ve debated going private too. He tends to do it when he has these funny fit-like episodes, where he arches his back and writhes. We ended up in a&e and were told it was linked to pain caused by reflux but they’ve come back with a vengeance. Hope you get it sorted!

@Megan-Louise it’s so hard isn’t it :( fingers crossed we will be more enlightened this week xx

Aweeee :((( I’m sorry you’re all going through this. Poor little guy 💔

@MJ_xo thank you 🙏🏼
