Baby fighting every nap

My baby is 5 months and fights every single nap. Arches her back, throws herself around, cries and screams even though she’s tired and it just doesn’t matter what I do she won’t go to sleep. Hushing, rocking, singing, music, patting her bum, stroking her hair, dummy, nothing. She just cries until she’s so exhausted she falls asleep but that’s about an hour of her being so upset. Am I doing something wrong?! It literally makes me want to cry every time😭

This is literally my baby. The only time she will stop and go to sleep is either she's cried too much and has knackered herself out or her dad lays her on her front and bounces her against his chest (this isn't something I am able to do) so when he's not here I put on miss Rachel to calm her down and she usually falls asleep to it. Not something I wanted to do as I didn't want her watching TV but it seems to be the only way to calm her😭 I'm hoping it's just Teething and it'll stop soon because it proper breaks my heart 💔

Mine does this a lot too, I’ll give him a boob to calm him down and he just fusses on it so I’ll give him a break and put him with a toy for a bit then try boob again and after 2 or 3 times he’ll eventually settle on it. But when he acts like that literally the only thing that will make him go to sleep is nursing even if he is already fed

the arching of the back is a sign of acid reflux or upset stomach.. we dealt with it a lot when my son was super young like this. try getting the excess air out burping or bicycles helped with my son ALOT! also gas drops worked wonders for us!
