Crawling?

I wouldn’t worry about it too much within just the last week my daughter started crawling standing and saying, mama and dada. It’s like a light switched in her. All babies learn at different paces.

@Madelyn I think my daughter is saying mama lol. I’m not sure if she know what she saying, but she’s definitely says it

I’m wondering too because my daughter is standing up and trying to walk but not interested in crawling. She’ll throw her head back and kind of move herself up or down like that but will roll instead of crawl.

@Mawia my daughter can’t sit up on her own, when she tries, she throws herself back or can’t hold herself to sit up! That’s so exciting tho

@Jenessa it’s so nice to see that this is normal and babies all have their own growth path. Because I promise you I am stressing everyday every minute.

My 7 month just started! But my pediatrician didn’t seem too worried about not crawling. Sitting is the important skill! Some babies skip crawling and go right to walking! 😵‍💫

my son just figured it one two days ago and now it’s trying to walk everywhere,, honestly i gave him as much floor time as possible having him figure out his body and how it works, all the physical development stuff is all baby you can try and facilitate crawling but you’ll never know how they will choose to crawl,, my son crawls by using one leg to push off of even tho i tried to get him on his knees,, he also sits up by going into child’s pose which is funny babies are silly little things and everything takes time

my almost 9 month old just started crawling today!!

@Angie I’ve noticed not to beat myself up over it because I can see how they develop differently as two separate babies.

@Jenessa right and who knows maybe baby girl is showing her brother how to move around

8 mos today and recently started belly off the ground crawling

My son started two weeks ago and he is pulling up on everything,

My son is 8m born premature so should be 6 1/2m he just started to crawl this week. He can’t sit up unassisted tho.
