Laid on back

I went for a facial yesterday and laid on my back for 30 or so minutes. I placed a rolled towel under my right side to angle my hips so I wasn’t completely flat but now all I can think about is that I laid down for too long. Have felt baby move since but can’t help but continue to worry 🙈

The amount of times I’ve rolled in bed and I had to take a pause on my back is nuts. I think as long as you feel baby move like normal you’re okay, but if it’s something you’re worried about don’t hesitate to call labor and delivery!

If you were comfortable enough to do it then it didn’t cause any problems! It’ll be okay 🩷

If you feel baby moving, aren’t leaking fluids, bleeding, or having contractions close to each other you’re fine.

I had a one hour facial while laying on my back and I’ve had one hour ultrasounds on my back as well. I’m sure baby is fine ♥️

lol your fine a I’m 34 weeks and just had my first experience with dizziness from laying on back.. I was at pelvic floor and suddenly I started to feel dizzy- she rolled me over to left side and I was fine - it takes a lot more than what you did to cause a problem- she told me that was a very early warning sign

Laying on your back isn’t going to hurt the baby, you would pass out before it even affected your baby, your body wakes you up before you faint if you are asleep. Lying on your back is really only bad for you. Not need to feel guilty I know this because my stupid doctor monitored me when I was over due and had me reclined and after 30 minutes I almost fainted. I was so mad, but really no need to worry mama.

I had to lay in the dentist chair for almost 2 hours while they put a crown in at 30 weeks and the Dr said it was fine. I think your body would definitely alert you to something being wrong long before. One Dr told me an hour on your back won't hurt anything. I think it's just if you're sleeping on your back that they worry about you not waking up to something being wrong.

I’ve laid on my back for both pregancies and there hasn’t been an issue, if baby moves and you are comfortable don’t worry

You should be okay 🙂 not sure if it helps but I think about how when we do ultrasounds we are laying on our back and they don't have us angle our hips. Plus those can be 45-60 minutes!

If you can breath through out it’s fine, I always lay on my back in the physical therapy she just ask me if i comfortable or not and breathing well
