D&c

So I’ve just had my second missed miscarriage this year, I feel like emotionally I’m dealing with it quite well better than last time. I opted for a d&c this time which definitely helped I think my question is I had my surgery Wednesday I had some light bleeding on the Wednesday after my surgery but I’ve not really bled since it’s now Sunday and I’m still not bleeding I could get away with not wearing a pad but I don’t dare just incase, is this normal? I don’t want to bother the hospital with silly questions

Yes I had my d&c on Thursday and I’ve not bled either been asking the same question for answers . Feel free to inbox me x

The hospital only said about what bleeding to expect they never mentioned about no bleeding. I don’t want to ring the hospital with a silly question

After my D&C I had minimal bleeding the same day then nothing. It’s totally normal as they’ve removed everything. Hope this helps x

Totally normal. My first d and c i bled a lot for like 2 weeks. My 2nd d and c i literally didn't bleed at all.

How long did it take you to get a negitive after no bleeding @Francesca @Morgan

Also how soon did u get your period

I had mine on Wednesday too and have had light bleeding like a light period and some clotting… I guess it’s different for everyone and depends how much they got out during the procedure xx

@Shiri are u having bloods again to check hcg going down ?

@Paige no they’ve asked me to repeat a pregnancy test after 4 weeks … nothing about bloods xx

@Shiri same I had bloods today went from 637 to 89

Also here to say very normal… I had very light ‘bleeding’ day of and day after d&c, then nothing for 5 weeks, then I got a very heavy, but not very painful period that lasted for almost 4 weeks weirdly, also took me 5 weeks to rest fully negative, guess this all just takes time, hope you’re ok! X

Thank you for the comments this has reassured me, I was told my surgery went well but when they say to expect bleeding and you don’t I was worried
