Playing up

Does anyone else’s little ones massively play up whenever you go away somewhere? Lily becomes an absolute nightmare whenever we go away somewhere, not listening, being rude, trying to hit etc basically just lashes out 😩 she is like this sometimes at home but whenever we go away she is a million times worse! It’s so frustrating because we want to be able to do nice family things and also have her elder sister so don’t want to have to miss out on doing things but Lily’s behaviour is just horrific when we do.

Not as bad as last year but it can be hard sometimes. Sounds like she finds new environments overwhelming. Xx

@Ruth yeah tbf she’s not as bad as she was last year! But was hoping it was just an age thing last year (terrible two’s) and she’d be fine this year. It’s like she just gets carried away with herself and just stops listening to us which causes all the other issues! Maybe we just find it more challenging because it’s not just her we have to deal with x

@Kerrie awww which haven? We went to the Filey one in summer. Olivers poorly again 😢 😫😭 Up most of the night with sickness and D. I'm totally exhausted but poor little guy, not getting a break. He has to be off today and tomorrow. Last day wed as this nursery is closing :( Hope you can try and enjoy your hol the best you can xx

@Ruth we’ve gone to Hafan y mor. Aw bless him, it’s so horrible when they are poorly, hope it clears up soon for him and he can manage his last day at nursery. Have you found a new setting for him? Thanks lovely xx
