Breast Pump Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a breast pump? It feels like a minefield and with everything being so expensive, I don’t want to buy the wrong thing! Breastfeeding is going well but I’d love to express so my husband can help with the night feeds!

I am exclusively breastfeeding, but I have a lot of milk so I express and save it. I am using the Momcozy m5 and it’s great, highly recommend it ! It’s relatively quiet, small and easy to work. Comes with flange inserts, a cute case for transport … check some reviews in YouTube but I’m really happy with it

@Geraldine hey I’ve been gifted that but didn’t use yet! Did you find that their nipple ruler thing helps for buying a different flange? Or did you just go with the one that it comes with?

It helps! I have a manual pump to (Medela) that’s 24mm and it was hurting me and not really getting as much milk, with the ruler I measured for a 17mm and it has made a huge difference ♥️

I have a momcozy m5 and a medela swing and have to say at the moment the momcozy is working far better for me

Momcozy V2, the most light weight out there (I think) 180ml capacity and great battery, comes with many flanges

I have Medela swing and momcozy hands free pump. I found the Medela one a lot more efficient at getting milk

I got a one form Amazon £35, does the job

@Geraldine I second this!! I found manual pumps work better for me it was also more convenient 🫶🏻 the medela manual

I have the Elvie pump and absolutely love it! It’s really quiet, the app is really useful and the pump works well for me. I express one bottle per day for my husband to do a night feed which has been a game changer for tiredness. I pump at night usually in bed so the quietness was an important factor. I do think they are probably all pretty good now though if you wanted to spend less! Good luck! xx
