Has your baby/toddler been in the hospital with RSV?

My son didn’t have RSV but he had bronchiolitis when he was 1.5 and stayed in the hospital for a weekend to treat. I know RSV is hard to treat or treat at all but know that your son is in the best care! How is he doing now that he’s in the care of a hospital? Any good results?
It’s very common, my son is 2 and been in with RSV, bronchiolitis, bronchitis, and viral wheeze twice

My daughter spent 4 nights in the hospital with RVS I want to say when she was ~7 months old. Took her to the pediatrician 100 times before I felt too uncomfortable and brought her to the hospital. Felt much better once she was there knowing she was being constantly monitored. Nurses were really comforting. Good luck to you!!!
My daughter had it at 3 weeks old. It’s scary but they’ll fight it. Ask for a chest xray too as can turn into pneumonia xx
My friend's newborn was in the hospital 2 weeks with RSV. That was 2 years ago when we had a rsv spike and hospitals were at capacity with a wait time of 15hr at the children's hospital
My baby was in hospital at 12 weeks old, he caught it at the doctors appointment for his 12 week check. I’m located Sydney, Australia and the medical staff were amazing they cared for my baby so well. Ofcourse some traumatising things you’ll never forget (bub was congested so I had to hold his head still every 4 hours so they could drain the snot and ofcourse he screamed!) No breathing devices needed thankfully! Full recovery and now 10 months old
My newborn was in hospital with RSV and bronchiolitis at the same time when he was 6 weeks old. It’s so so scary but it’s the best place for them to be. It was very reassuring knowing they were constantly monitoring his oxygen levels and making sure he had enough fluids. We were there for a week and then sent home :)
My 3 year old got RSV around 18 months and spent 4 days with oxygen, developed bronchiolitis and an ear infection.

Not mine, but someone’s baby in my birth month group was in the hospital with RSV as a newborn. He had to stay for a little bit but was released with a clean bill of health 🩷
