Are we amidst dropping naps?

2 year 3 months and she isn’t happy in her cot any more in day, she’ll lie down then just ask me to get her up after about 15 mins? She is tired but she’s definitely changed these past couple of weeks and doesn’t seem as tired like more switched on and just nattering to herself.

We had something similar and a tweak to timings worked wonders.

@Natalie what’s your times now please? How long is your toddler napping for? Thx

Wake up 6.30/7, nap about 12 for 1-1.5 hours then bedtime 7.30/8

This is happening to us this last week. As above may to have to adjust times of nap and length of nap now xx

We're mid drop I think. She refused at nursery on Friday too and hasn't napped at home at the weekend unless it is in the car for about 2 months now. We already do wake 7, nap attempt around 1pm at home for an hour max and then bedtime 8:30 if napped, earlier if no nap

@Fiona I'd say the nap is potentially being refused cos it's too late tbh. My daughter didn't sleep for 2 days at nursery last week but overnight was awful so I know she's not ready to drop it

Ah, it's a struggle isn't it. Night time is no different for us if there is a nap or not so we just kind of go with the flow these days!

@Fiona we’re on the same as you 12ish was our time and she was getting later going to sleep at night so we’ve decreased it to 1pm but now it’s 1:15 (45minutes) and some times no nap now always up around 2pm and she goes to bed 7:30-8-15. 7-7:30 if no nap. She does sleeps all night tbf. It just feels like she’s on the way to dropping it and it’ll be soon which surprises me

Skips occasionally but then it’s a rough go. He’s not ready
