Ferber is a softer cry it out, you go in at increasing intervals to reassure them, it can just be verbal or you can pat their back or stroke their head, whatever you think would calm them. Coupled with age appropriate wake windows and putting her down when she’s at the right level of tired, this worked for us. Any kind of touch sent her into a spiral so we just said ‘mummy’s here, it’s okay baby, calm calm, calm’ over and over when we went in. She sends herself to sleep in 5-10 mins now and sleeps for 4-12 hours at a time (0-2 wake ups). We were the same as you before, every 30-45 mins until at least 10, usually between 1 & 2am. I couldn’t go on. There’s pick up, put down but essentially we did this for months and it didn’t work. I’ve heard the chair method is softer, where you move the chair further and further toward the door each night but don’t know if that actually works

Ahh fab thank you so much
The Little Ones app has been amazingly helpful and it’s really gentle training. The timings they suggest really work for my LG too. She now only wakes 1-2 times a night. She easily naps for 1-2 hours twice a day too now she’s in her routine
