Leg cramps

I woke up Friday early hours to a cramp in my calf, it's now Sunday and it still really hurts! No amount of stretching is taking it away, is it normal for it to still hurt 2 days later??? Joys of pregnancy 🥲

I’ve had the same! The tenderness tends to wear off after a couple of days but can be quite sore - take it easy on your legs as much as you can. The midnight cramps are horrible 🥲

Yeah I have the same. I did find that after a couple days and some light exercise it helped ease it off! Heard magnesium spray massaged into the calf helps too xx

If it's red or hot to the touch, I'd get it checked out as it could be a clot. Otherwise, keep stretching it! I've tried magnesium lotion but can't really tell if it has helped or not! It's ridiculous how painful cramps can be, though!

@Sum thank you I'll look into getting some! Xx

@Loren honestly worse than labour 🥲😂

@Kate it's the worst!!! So painful

I had the same 🥹 I applied warm oil and asked husband to massage it gently . It was way better afterwards

Snap! The pain honestly 🙈

Yeah I'm the same!! Hoping it will hurry up and go. Could've cried when it first happened. It happened a lot in 3rd trimester in my 1st pregnancy too🙈 first time it's happened this time round, hoping it doesn't come back!! Nothing seems to ease it for me xx

I had these leg cramps regularly on 1st pregnancy and this one too. 100% buy a magnesium spray from your local health food store and spray every night before bed. It's the only thing that worked for me. Hope it helps.
