Need help on how to stop co-sleeping my little one is 8wks old now and since 3wks old we have co slept I spend hours a night trying to put her down even when she’s deep asleep but she will wake and cry, co-sleeping she will sleep 7hrs straight at night but not co-sleeping each night we both get max of 3hrs as she’s constantly waking up crying so i reluctantly resulted to co-sleeping so that I can get some sleep I follow the safe co-sleeping advice but I hate it and want to transition her to sleep in her own bed/ next to me cot Any advice

I used to co-sleep with my little one too, I started with putting him down on his own cot during the day to make sure that he adjusts, that way night time will eventually become easier. Try not to pick her up straight away, try to soothe her while she’s in the cot unless obviously she’s really crying then give her some cuddles and pop her back in. But introducing daily naps in her cot will make it easier That’s what’s worked for me, I eventually gave him a dummy and a little comforter which helped him for comfort and self soothing Hope this helps 😅

Just curious how do you cosleep? Does she sleep next to you on the bed or?

@Sophie she sleeps on the bed next to me
