Hip pain at night?

Anyone else getting quite sore hips from sleeping on your side at night? I'm waking up to roll over and switch sides every hour or so from the pain. Any suggestions as to what can help?

Yes I’m the same! I’ve just woken up actyally as I’m typing this and my thighs and hips are so sore 😫

Same here. Some nights I have to throw my pregnancy pillow out as that makes the pain worse. I’ve not found anything to help it ☹️

Yeah I've had it from early second trimester, tried stretching and using a ball which helps a little but it still isn't great. I'm the same constantly switching sides

Yep, I wake up every 2/3 hours with aching on my side and have to roll over.

Pillow between the legs helps massively! And turning slowly. My physio also said no straddling positions, not sure if she meant that in a sexual way or what 😂

This is me right now! I do sleep with a pillow between my legs but I still get aches and have to switch sides. Going to do a bit more yoga to stretch out and see if it helps

I’ve found a pillow between my legs can hurt just as much as the pregnancy pillow sometimes. But I’ve found what really helps me is laying on one side and using a scatter cushion wedged under the edge of my butt. Doesn’t make sense but it’s helped me. 🖤

I had this too tried all the pregnancy pillows and everything. I invested In a gel memory foam mattress topper and a firm pillow and I have to say I no longer get hip or back pain at night. This was quite expensive and I know won’t work for everyone but for me it’s been a game changer.
