Sound machine
Baby girl sleeps in our room and we play a white noise sound machine. It helps her sleep but sometimes it irritates the living soul out of me and then I can’t fall asleep.. How long do you let your sound machine play overnight?

Is it just noise in general or specifically white noise? Because I CAN’T STAND the basic white noise but I like listening to rain so lil dude just had to get rain sounds instead lol. Maybe find a sound that’s less irritating?

Play ocean rain instead. There’s actually some evidence that white noise can be damaging.
I do music so it's noise but not consistent sometimes I do a sleep timer and sometimes it goes all night long and I do either lullabies or just music I like and in the lullabies it sometimes has rain and birds

When she was a newborn it was all night but as she got older I realised she was waking in the night and staying awake so I put the white noise onto a 90 minute timer and she stopped waking
