Back pain

Intense back pain to the point where it makes me sick to my stomach and feel nauseous. I called L&D and they told me to try Tylenol and I took that around 9:48 and they told me to call back in an hour but it's so painful with pressure that I cant sit or use the bathroom without it hurting. Anyone know what I can do until I can call them back? I don't wanna go in to have them send me home but it is so much pressure.

It’s always better to go in and be sent home then to stay home and it be something serious

Try laying on heating pad or hot sock, soak in warm tub with epsom salt.. any of those. I know my back had pain and pressure and heat always helped. Hope you feel better soon!

Yes same as Heather. Was also going to suggest heating pad! Had this happen to me on Wednesday and went in but wasn’t far enough into labor for them to admit me. The heating pad took the pain away! Ended up in active labor on Friday and had baby very fast

I went in today for the back pain because I just couldn’t do it anymore and they gave me a shot of morphine in my butt. Honestly the best thing I could’ve done. Most relaxed I’ve been and got some amazing sleep.

@Stephanie it was baby I checked in and I was already 6cm

Yay!!!! When I went in again Friday after all the back pain in the days leading up to it I was already at 8cm! And he came within 2 hours! Hope everything went smoothly with your delivery! ❤️

@Kali not here yet I wanted a natural but his vitals dropped so I had to get an epi just waiting now
