Itchy boobs!!! breastfeeding

Hellllllp!! I can’t be alone on this. No my daughter does not have thrush and it’s not a yeast infection but my breasts underneath and around the nipple are sooooooooo itchy. Of course I scratch and it’s a vicious cycle, and now is a cute look. I have eczema on the rest of my body and now have little spots that mimic that. I use my nipple cream and ice packs. But I still breastfeed. I don’t understand. What is going on here. I can’t be alone here.

I think we sweat more when we breastfeed, which may cause the itch.

nipple balm or aquaphor. it’s normal. your skin is constantly trying to heal

Yes omg , the first few months I was scratching like crazy. I don't remember doing anything other than take showers but yes . Itchy like crazy. Also I developed a rash between my breasts and under from excessive sweating

@Shantell yesssss it’s happening now to me and I am suppose to wear a low cut dress for my anniversary dinner and I’m so emotional not okay. I have been using nipple cream and aquafor and nothing is working

@Valeria it’s sooooo unbearable

I used diaper cream 😂, nipple cream . The rash went away after almost a week then about a monthster it came back and spread wider, now I have a discoloration that looks like a butterfly 😭

Girl I’m not breastfeeding anymore and same!

@Sonya whyyyyy this is awful.

@Shantell oh nooo

There has to be something that helps!! I can’t put hydrocortisone cream because she still eats at night. This is brutualllll
