Sleeping

My baby (2months) will only sleep in the crib if he’s in his boppy😭which I think is fine for now until he starts to roll over…every time he’s in his crib he doesn’t like to be swaddled and laying flat he constantly has startle reflexes. Any advice ??

Have you tried a sleep sack that slightly hugs him but isn't a swaddle? I personally wouldn't do a boppy since they are not recommended for sleep. His head could slump forward.

@Leah I have to try the ones where his arms are at his head I’m hoping he’ll like that one

It would seem like he likes to be up a little while he sleeps. My son was like that. He slept most of his day in a bouncer. He wouldn’t sleep long if I wasn’t around either. He had reflux so he’d wake up puking if he was laying down. They aren’t recommended for sleep either. But it was literally the only way he wouldn’t puke in his sleep. So for me it was safer than a crib. And safer than the boppy cause if he moved, he couldn’t slip down under anything and suffocate. Talk to your doctor about it, ask for suggestions. Wedge pillows put under the mattress could be an option.

@Megan wedge pillows! Thank you🫶🏻
