Workout routine

I’m ttc, 11 dpo trying to prep ahead of time. Wondering if you guys continue to take pre work out, post work out recovery, and protein powder. What workouts do you guys do? Do you have a plan that you follow? Any recommendations?

Check the labels, from memory they usually say not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Since you’re actively ttc, it’s probably best to avoid them.

I use protein powder but do not follow a schedule yet. I try to squeeze in some workouts here and where but it’s so hard with two kids 🥴 Currently looking for a gym with childcare, but I also found some yoga classes, where I can take them

While ttc, I used to take an early response pregnancy test prior to my missed period if I was feeling off (potential pregnancy symptoms) or worried about something (like drinking at an upcoming friend's wedding). In my thinking, if you would change your behavior if you knew you were pregnant, that's a good enough reason to check! Some protein powders are ok to take, but some contain other things (like caffeine, excess sugar, or other chemicals) that are problematic. Check your labels and if you are not sure check with your doc. My current workout plan (with two kids) is to take twice daily walk/runs while pushing the (75+lb) double stroller. 😅 I add in squats/push-ups/etc when my oldest stops to look at Halloween decorations, which is a lot. 🤣🎃 💪

Indoor bike helped me a lot. Seen lots of progress compared to when I would visit the gym once or twice a week.
