@Steph i've asked her but she won't say since she went back to school she's been awful last night she woke up at midnight screaming at me i had to leave my room and lay down somewhere else then i thought no why should i do that made her go in her room she screamed the house down i put on her clothes and said let's go and get some fresh air she screamed like i was killing her i had to sit out side my self i'm at my whitts end i can't cope anymore
Its a tough spot to be in but it sounds like she needs you more than ever but doesnt know how to say or ask... U know the 'my Mum should automatically know how to fix this without me saying it outloud' scenario kids love to torture us with... Give her space but also try not to go down th punishment route. Its figuring out an open line of communication that she feels comfy enough to say whats going on... Maybe introduce a diary and funky pens that she can write down her feelings when it all gets alot? Or has a bunch of emoji signs she can put on her door to tell u when she needs some 'quiet' time, or '1 on 1 Mum time' just means of her letting u know whether shes angry/sad/hurt These little monsters are th most confusing puzzles and apparently we're supposed to have a copy of their manual somewhere 🤷 hope u get t th bottom of it with her.x
Is anything going on in school etc, my 6 year old is the same we don’t have her saying she is leaving home, we just get the I’m not your friend anymore etc, and the screaming at us, I know she is finding going into year one difficult as that is a big change, I know it’s easier said and done, try and sit down with her and talk to her etc to see if something else is going on :-)
