Struggling being away from partner
My partner had to travel to his hometown (mum passed away, 2.5h flight) and we have a 1.5 week old son. He will probably be away for 3-5 weeks (he will stay there for the funeral and probably work for 2-3 weeks before taking again paternity). I have loads of support from my family/friends but I am struggling to be away from him 😩😭…

Totally totally get this. I really needed my husband through pregnancy and birth and after. Not because I 'needed' him to do stuff but in the way a little kid needs their favorite teddy. I am NOT usually like that with my husband or anyone. My husband was deployed for most of my pregnancy and it wasn't nice.
@Stephanie yes I am not a needy person either, but just wanted to share this with him during this time as a family… is your husband back, did you give birth?

Awe that sucks… I hate that feeling maybe he can break up trip and come home for a day or two after half way. It’s only a short flight
