I have a suggestion that worked for my baby boy (but I’m not an expert, I just tried it).. during the day when I’m awake and can supervise, I put him in his crib during his wake window. Not wrapped or anything, but just so he can be on his own. I keep him up in his crib while I go in my room and sort laundry, etc or in his bassinet downstairs while I make myself breakfast or wash his bottles. At the beginning, I wanted to leave him there for 5-10 minutes, now that we’ve been doing it about a month (he’s 7 weeks), he can stay in there for about 25-30 minutes. He has started to coo and he just looks around. I think it’s good for them for “independent play” but it also helps with separation during sleep. That way, when they do wake up alone, they are okay to be by themselves for a bit until they’re ready to let you know they need you. Just a thought. You’re doing great, mom!
@Amalia thank u i’m gunna try this!
@Madyson good luck! I hope it works out! Let us know how it goes!
I tried white noise and my baby just didn’t like it! The last few nights we’ve been using rain sounds and he seems to really like that - doesn’t stop him waking up lots but he goes back down super quick x
