Screaming when Breastfeeding
Hi there, my baby is nearly 9 weeks old and is ebf. He normally feeds well but recently has been really restless when feeding, I try changing positions and burping throughout but tonight he was literally screaming. I think it might be reflux- has anyone been to the GP or used infant gaviscon or baby omeprazole. I’m feeling so anxious like I can’t go out and feed him in public if he feeds like this again! Any advice really appreciated! X

Hiii. Happy for you to message me. My 9wo is also EBF and just started on infant gaviscon. He's been having reflux. So far he seems well on it, ithas helped👍🏼
I would speak to your HV and ask to speak to the feeding specialist. With my son I found them a million times more helpful than the GP, my son was very similar with feeding and after months of being fobbed off by the GP he was diagnosed with CMPA x

Hi, my 4 week old has recently started becoming restless during feeds, and it’s like no matter what position I get her in she doesn’t seem happy. I don’t have any answers as I haven’t tried the omeprazole or gaviscon but hopefully someone else has some advice 🤞🏼 x
