Shaving down there !

I had a wax done 5 days before I was induced. I know no-one in the hospital would care but it made me feel better x

I’ve shaved and I’m 39 + 2. I just used a mirror and I use an estrid razor so don’t cut myself. But I’ve been told no one cares when you’re in labour so don’t put pressure on yourself! Xx

I shaved for when I gave birth but that was just comfterbality for myself the midwife’s really don’t care about down there x

They don’t really like you to be freshly shaved due to infection apparently! I really wouldn’t worry! They’ve seen it all before 😆 x

I shaved like a week before I went into labour and when I went into labour I was debating to shave quickly before we went to the hospital but i decided i couldn't be bothered and just didn't care tbh 😂

I shave like every 10 days recently and for weeks the only way to do this is while lying in a bath tub. No need for a mirror, you just feel with your hand if you have any hair left or finish off while standing 🙌🏼😊

I didn’t shave as I was unprepared but tbf they do this day in day out and see everything I wasn’t that bothered about it all😅 Just be mindful it could increase your risk to infection

i went into labour nearly 3 weeks ago and omg i wanted to shave so bad because i wanted to be comfortable but i didn’t have any time haha! I promise you do not worry about shaving the midwife’s and nurses do not care one bit! But if you need to do what makes you feel comfortable then shave if you would like but i know it’s so much harder as you can’t see anything down there! xx

I shaved but I just felt where the hair was and used an estrid razor so they don’t cut really, there was probably the odd spot of hair but that didn’t really matter. I’m more scared of shaving post partum due to stitches 😩
