Swimming: Baby Inhaled Water!!
So my LO has swimming once a week and part of that is dunking them under water… every time she has held her breath but this time she was under she took some breaths and came up choking and coughing for a while. She was crying for a good while and I’m now worried about secondary drowning!
Has anyone else’s baby inhaled water and been ok? TIA, a very anxious and upset mum 🥺🩷

Call 111. They offer advice, should explain what to look out for and signs that are worrying and will let you know if you should go in xx

If she had swallowed I would have been a bit less worried, but she breathed it in and the instructor said that if I am worried to seek a medical professional 🙃🥲 she’s been her normal, cranky / happy self but her breathing is shallow (don’t know if I’m just looking for things to worry about though) x
