Bedtime

My little boy naturally starts to get tired at about 7pm and is usually asleep by 7.30. He sleeps really well through the night but then is bright eyed at 5am ready to start the day 😂I don't know how to make him sleep a bit longer. Should I try and delay his bedtime a bit? I don't want to keep him awake if he's tired but I can't deal with these early starts 😂

Definitely push bedtime back - I’d look at overall sleep in the 24 hour period but both my little girl at my son who is now 4 needed a much later bedtime, closer to 9pm to wake later

my little boy goes to bed around 9pm and will wake around 9/10am. i cannot be dealing with early mornings

It didn’t matter what time we put our girl down she always woke up at 6-630sm because the extra nap ate into her night sleep. We’d end up with an overtired baby the next day wanting to nap within an hour of waking so decided to give ourselves the evenings and if she goes down 630 she’ll sleep until 6am

It's still a 10 hour sleep. Your baby might just not need it. I've tried prolonging the wake window but it just back fires and causes chaos with overtiredness. No matter what time my baby gets up he always wants putting down at the same time and will skip a nap

Ours goes down at 7.30pm and wakes between 5.30-6.30 but then I pick him up and put him next to me in our bed and he falls straight back to sleep until about 8-8.30 then extra couple of hours make all the difference so I don’t mind him being in our bed just for that

Try pushing bedtime back but what we found was that later bedtime means earlier morning 🤢 If he's not screaming then try leaving him in his bed, he might go back back to sleep or something
