Nappy sizes

My boy is 7 weeks on Tuesday and the size 2 nappies say they’re up to 13lbs. He’s literally about to go over that and was 12lb 5oz last week when he was weighed. We’ve tried to go up to size 3 tesco nappies which are awful so I’m looking elsewhere for better ones. It feels too early to have him in size 3’s though?! The weight starts at 9lbs though so I guess it makes sense? Is anyone else’s babas on size 3 yet?!

Which size 2s are you using?? The ones I’ve seen that are size 2 are up to 18lb 🙈

My little boy is already in size three and has been for a few weeks he’s only 10 weeks

@Jill tescos own brand haha the sizing is 6-13lbs! The size 1’s and 2’s have been great but their size 3’s are shockingly bad 😂

@Charleigh ah okay that makes me feel a bit better I don’t even know why I’m second guessing it 😂

Rascal and friends are good, you can get them in Tesco. We use their size 3’s, my girl is already 15lb 8 at 9 weeks!

Although I wouldn’t just go off the weight on the packs, every baby is different so just look for signs your baby needs to go up rather than following the packet x

My girl has been in size three Aldi nappies for two weeks. She’s almost 11 weeks x

@Evie ooh thank you I’ll keep an eye out! Yeah I’m still on the fence as to whether he’s quite there yet but he keeps seeing through the size 2’s and they’re much tighter than they were a couple weeks ago the lil chonker haha!

Oh that’s so strange they’re all different haha! I bought a pack of size 3 the other week cause I wasn’t sure how much longer our wee one would be in size 2s - he was 12lb 15oz last week 😅

I found lidl was good with my first daughter I found aldi nappies after the first 2 sizes weren't great for her. My 8 week old is currently in size 2 tesco now I'm worried for when she goes up lol x

Sainsbury’s nappies are good, they have a stretchy back to stop leaks and fit nicely if you’re lo is kinda in-between size 2/3 x

The weights on nappies are just estimations as all babies come in different shapes and sizes. My little one was in sizes 1s way over the weight, size 2 for a really short time, and started size 3 around 12lb. He has chunky legs which get chunkier by the day with him constantly trying to push up on them. We are in the tesco Fred and flo and find the size 3s great especially at night with them being extra absorbant

Definitely don't go by the weight, every baby is different and and the shape of your baby will make more of a difference. We're in size 3 and prefer Lidl but I remember switching brands multiple times with our first. Common for a brand that was fine for you to not work any more as your little one grows

We've got lidl size 2 and it says they go up to 18lb

@Lisa omg thank you I might try Lidl size 2 then as tescos are definitely only up to 13lbs!
