Lots of questions

Hiya I have lots of questions - first time mum and have no idea about anything haha. 1. Best sling or baby carrier, I don’t mind buying two I just want something that I can use from early on until as long as possible. 2. What do I wash all baby’s things with? Fairy? 3. Can anyone recommend a good next to me crib, preferably not something with massive legs as we don’t have a huge space & I want the side to be able to come down 4. Any advice from c section mums with extra things to pack in hospital bag that may differ from vaginal birth 5. How many bottles do I need / what size bottles and teats? I’m formula feeding and plan on using mam bottles 6. Can anyone recommend a good baby monitor that doesn’t run off wifi? 7. Does anyone have a snuza hero & if so are they any good? 8. Doc a tot or baby nerjell? This is just so we have any extra place to lay baby as we don’t have room for a Moses basket, baby will not be left unsupervised etc 9. Can anyone recommend any good online baby classes/training or hypbobirthing / books Thanks so much!!! X

1. Try and find a sling library. I never could I had a cheap one with my son liked it but want something more suitable from newborn. Got ergo baby omni 360 for this baby but from vinted half the price. Good from 7lb up too a few years old. I had a wrap carrier for my son (borrowed from neighbour) never used it cause it looked so complicated didn’t have time to figure it out! 2. Doesn’t have to be fairy but non bio I use whichever is on offer or supermarkets own. 3. I love my tutti bambini cozzee lite but it is in the larger size. Snooze pods are good for smaller spaces but are more £££. 4. I had emergency C-section last time so packed for general birth didn’t bother with a few things like spritz for bit or peri bottle as I thought I’d need a C-section. 😂 glad I didn’t bother. Don’t really think there’s anything else extra I would pack this time round when I’m having an elective. 5. If your in the Boots parenting club you can get free tiny mam bottle I’ve manage to collect 6…

.. so far I just take them to self checkout and scan them and their 1p each. I’ve then bought 3 big mam bottles if baby takes to them I’ll buy 3 more I only ever had 6 for my son. Never bothered with medium size with my son. A big bottle can still hold a small amount. If baby doesn’t take to mam we’ll run to the shops. Also I combi fed so stayed on size 0 teats for about 4months the free tiny bottles come with size 0. 6. Ours is Vtech can go via WiFi or without not sure the model. 7. No idea what the snuza hero is. 8. We’ve got a sleepyhead/dokatot this time round but free from a friend my son never took to the Moses basket. I wouldn’t bother spending money on a sleepy head their extortionate for such a small time period it’s used for. 9. Practical ways to make your birth better is a great book!

1. Consider a sling library if you have one local to try before you buy. I love my mammaruga (English Brand) 2. Baby clothes a non-bio washing powder-liquid, bottles- yes warm soapy water then a steriliser after I had a docatot- seemed fine Avoid the snoo as a next to me, cannot take sides down- no good for c-section mums
