Pain in lower stomach when moving ??

I’m around 30 weeks and whenever I’m moving for too long (like doing the food shop) I get this awful sharp crampy pain in my lower stomach / groin area. It literally takes my breath away! It gets better when I sit back down for a few mins. Does anyone know what this is? I’ve seen stuff about pelvic girdle pain but is this how it feels or is it where baby is getting heavy now and pushing on nerves in that area? She is head down so would make sense.

Yep very normal, a sign to slow down a bit

It’s called ‘lightning crotch’ it’s totally normal, it’s to do with the ligaments loosening so that your pelvis can allow the baby out in a few weeks! It’s totally normal! But as Charley said…slow down x

I get this and I'm 27 weeks, I get carried away sometimes and end up doing a lot of housework and end up cramping or getting braxton hicks, more than likely a sign you need to slow down as your body will probably be preparing for labour ☺️x
