Sleeping positions

Hey lovelies I’m going to be a first time mum I’m currently 36w5d pregnant and having trouble sleeping through the night. I find it very uncomfortable to sleep on my left side and only get relief and a good sleep sleeping on my right side. I know it’s recommended to sleep on your left as much as possible, but is anyone else having constant worries about baby during the night?? Is it safe to sleep on the right side?

I sleep on both my left and right. I think as long as your not on your back your fine

I sleep on both, mainly right side. My midwife said this was OK. As long as you aren't on your back. Hope you get some sleep 😊

I was one of those who slept on the left side for 9 months. It definitely was not easy to just sleep on one side and got more uncomfortable later on. But my friends slept on both sides and were perfectly fine. Believe NHS also say it’s fine to sleep on both. But the left side is slightly better.

When I was pregnant my baby would HATE when I slept on left side, he would kick like crazy. Either side is fine

Same here mainly sleep on my right. I thought latest info was either side and not left preferential…

I sleep on both sides, mainly my right. I also sleep with a pillow between my legs the past few weeks to change the angle of my hips and tuck my pillow between my shoulder and neck.
