Night struggles

My 8 month old suddenly started waking up during the night at some point.. will drink milk and will take ages to put back to sleep when she used to be so easy as just lying her in bed and she fall asleep but lately it justs takes like 1-2 hours. Is this sleep regression or teething (getting her first tooth at the moment) or the new night routine? It's just being so hard as I am barely getting like 4 hours of sleep during the night and I'm helpless I don't know what to do or if this will last much more longer... Anyone who can give me some hope please 🥺

I have no advice but honestly I was about to make my own post 😩. We are all going through it. Hopefully it gets better x

I’m the same boat. He’s been like it for weeks. Even now he’s fighting his naps too! Xx

In the same boat, mine won’t take long to go back but will wake up so much. Went from 1 night feed to now waking up every 2 hours, 3 if I’m lucky 🥲

Yeah sorry in the same boat my little one who is 8 months wake up randomly and takes adges to settle I found giving them a bath for they go to bed helps and if u get bed time oats as well helped she only woked up for bottle I hope this helps

I have just come out the other end too this I think it’s just a sleep regression x

I hate that seeing how many mothers are going/ been through this actually gives me relief. I thought I was doing something wrong 😮‍💨

Can they fall asleep without help? Ie: independently? X

You’re not alone 🥺x

Exactly the same as you. I'm getting used to the lack of sleep 😂 as been happening for a few weeks now. I've also found feeding in the dark and no phone on helps her go down again slightly quicker. We also used to be able to put her down and fall asleep independently but she hasn't done that for a while now. Not sure how I can try to encourage that again...

It gives me some relief that I'm not alone in this! Hopefully this will pass because while it's lasting the nights are just so hard, not even looking forward to sleep

Look up split nights. Can be caused by too much day sleep. How many hours is she sleeping in the day, and how many hours is she sleeping overnight? What is the total average sleep over 24 hours?

I think it's both sleeping regression and teathing at the same time , my girl used to sleeps from 7 to 6 now I wake up once for feeding and once or twice to comfort her, it's bean a hard few weeks , at least her naps got better last few days
