My boy was the same size in Clarks and we got a nice pair of trainers from deichman which were a size 4 and fit perfectly with some room at his toes. Slip on easy as well
My sons a 4f, as above, we just buy him a size 5 elsewhere. I tend to have him with me though to try shoes on but so far it's consistently size 5

Depends on the brand, some do half sizes some don’t. And like someone said Nikes sizing is ridiculous 😂 4.5 Nike might fit for a while though cause when mine was a 4.5 she did fit them, now she’s a 5 she wears 5.5 in Nikes. Start Rite sizing is generally the same as Clark’s so she’d likely be a 4.5G in them too. G is “wide fit” so in shoes that aren’t trainers she may need a wide fit if that’s an option
Clarks shoes run small, so you have to size down in other brands.
Clark’s measured my twins feet totally wrong and I won’t be going back 😭
I would buy 5s elsewhere that’s what I always do. Also Nike sizing is weird. 5.5=5. If you got a 4.5 they’d be too small
