Hey! I had the same! My partner was worried I was going into labour. Apparently it’s when they’re really head down and pressing on nerves etc. lightening crotch! X
Yes! Completely normal...I feel like I've been riding a bike for 100 hours 🤣
Could be PGP there are some stretches exercise you can do to help.
Could be baby has engaged. I remember the bruised feeling well, hence why heavily pregnancy women start to get that wobble lol
Yeah I've had the same. 38+3. Baby's head has been down there so I've put it down to that because I feel like sometimes she floats up a bit and I won't have it as bad that day.
Yes, I've had this for a few weeks now. It's part of PGP - your pelvis comes apart there during the birth and because of all the pregnancy hormones there is a lot of movement there, which can lead to inflammation and pain. There's a good booklet to download on this page with advice: https://thepogp.co.uk/resources/112/pregnancy_related_pelvic_girdle_pain_for_mothers_to_be_and_new_mothers
@Millie this is incorrect what she’s described is not lightening crotch.
@Samara what she has describe is not lightening crotch..
This is pelvic girdle pain and you can be referred for physiotherapy x
@Shanice you can have both lightening crotch and pgp at the same time. This is what I had when speaking with the obstetrician. Exercise and physio definitely helps for sure
Hi! I was having the same pains (I still get them regularly in the evening) and I spoke to my midwife and she said it’s lightening crotch! So it’s perfectly normal x
