Sleep deprived

It seems as tho my LO has somewhat regressed in her sleep. She used to do 4 hour stretches a few times through the night. Unfortunately last night after the first 3h40 min stretch she kept waking up every 2 hours. There was one time she woke up after an hour. At 4am she woke up again and my partner let her sleep in his arms just to get her to sleep longer.. Does anyone else sees this in your babies? LO just turned 10 weeks. It reminds me of the early newborn weeks where baby is constantly on my boobs.. I hope this phase won't last too long.

Oh wow could’ve written this! We were getting 4 hours then 2.5 pretty consistently then the last two nights she’s been up every 2 hours again. Honestly with my first it was up and down and up and down until he started sleeping through consistently at 11 months so really just going with the flow as much as possible and not thinking any good period will last 🙈 Better to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed

@Allie how old is your girl? I'm wondering whats up and why they keep changing patterns hahaha. You're right that it's good to just go with the flow!

10 weeks as well (11 on Monday) ❤️ I’ve noticed she wants to sleep at 9pm instead of 10pm so might try to keep her up tonight to see if we can go back to 4 hours + 🤞

Potentially could be an upcoming growth spurt? I think they say there tends to be one around 3 months/12 weeks? 🙈 Or maybe early teething coming on??

There’s a 4 month sleep regression so maybe just ahead of schedule for that?

Yep, 8 week old & same here! Was sleeping 2-3 hour stretches, now 1.5 hour wake ups all night & won't go in him crib after 4am (needing to be held), no idea why! Figure it's developmental/growth spurt. Unfortunately sleep can be so changeable/up & down in these early months - just have to enjoy the good phases whilst they last, but it's brutal isn't it having such broken sleep!
