Anyone else’s toddler just recently discover how to unzip and escape from their sleep bag?

Yesterday my little one just discovered how to undo her sleeping bag, she unzipped it, threw it off, than rolled it into a ball🙄 Are there sleeping bags that are hard to get out of? Or is now the time we introduce a duvet? (I have no clue, 1st time mum, just figuring out as I go basically)

My little girl is doing this too, but she is unbuttoning the buttons on the shoulder and wriggling out. I don’t want to introduce a duvet yet as she’s in her cot and moves around so much so might have to research some different sleep bags. We use the George Asda one.

You can get togged sleep suits or thicker pyjamas if you don't think she's ready for a duvet yet

My little girls had a duvet since she was about 11months. Is there a reason u dont have one yet, like is it just anxiety wise? My little girl tosses and turns constantly and shes never suffocated or got trapped or anything lol hopefully more mamas can put ur mind at ease about the duvet! Toddler duvets are nice and light x

We’ve had a duvet for about a year, he’ll kick it off if he’s too hot and can tuck himself back in so it’s ideal really. Sometimes if he’s sound asleep I’ll check on him and put the cover back on before I go to bed. If she’s taking it off she might be frustrated with the sleeping bag. That’s why we made the switch.

We use a duvet, it’s a toddler size 4 tog one, then we make sure she has nice warm pjs with a vest and socks. I was really worried about the switch as she slept so well before, and it’s been absolutely fine. She doesn’t sleep under the duvet all night either 😅 she is such a mover.

We moved to a duvet she often doesn’t sleep with it and kicks it off- but she knows it’s there if she wants it-
