Potential constipated baby??

8 months old baby and doing a combination of blw and puree, lately her poo has been more solid, anything I can do/cook for her to help loosen it a bit?

I swear by the prune puree. Every time my LO has been constipated it sorts it out pretty quickly.

I had this chat with a HV yesterday. A few comments. Prunes as mentioned above. More sipping water, not just with food. Orange juice helps but isn’t allowed, so try oranges but peel off the skin. Fruits that are puréed have had a lot of the fibre removed, so give soft fruits minus the skin rather than any sachet ones. X

Mix prunes into his porridge it will help and sips of water. Also pewr puree but leave the skin on and blitz. They need the fibre

I swear by tinned prunes and tinned/fresh pears. Blend together and freeze into cubes. When baby is struggling defrost a few for a pudding and it works brilliant and always on hand!

Hey I'm in the same boat and the frequency is off the scale so I didn't consider constipation! I will try prunes ☺️

My baby having the same problem. I just give him apples or pears and that did the trick. It’s the transition from baby poop to more solid poop their little system is like WOAH

We do BLW but just give a pouch of prune purée mixed with yogurt every time he gets too solid or hasn’t been in a while!
