Frustrated

Is anyone else's little one becoming frustrated at everything? If I take a toy away she gets so angry I am trying to figure out the best way to teach her

What are you trying to teach her by taking her toys away? Genuinely curious

I didn't mean that sorry I mean teaching her in general that she can't have everything 🤣 if she doesn't get what she wants she will cry. Unsure if this is normal behaviour for her age

The most normal. Babies won't understand that at all. They're just gonna get upset for no reason. If it's something dangerous or something she shouldn't have for some reason then absolutely fine. But if it's her toys she's not learning anything, just unnecessary stress. 8 months old is way too young to understand. You can only start teaching them reasoning around 2 and even then, you should have a good reason and explain it, and it will still take them a long time to understand. Kids can take until they're finishing infant school to really learn that and have it still be age appropriate.

As adults people don't come and take away your paintbrush while you're painting just cuz you can't always have what you want 😅

Even as toddlers, children, teens, they're gonna be frustrated when you take away something they want, theirs or not, and you've gotta understand why they're upset, explain why they can't have that thing right now, and be sympathetic that they're upset about it, and help them regulate themselves. That's how they become regulated adults.

I'm not trying to tell you off either I'm just confused as to where you got the info from
