Baby wearing

Anyone else still have their 10 month+ old in a baby carrier? If I’m just popping into the supermarket to grab a couple of things and don’t need a trolley/can’t be bothered to take the pushchair I’ll have my baby in a carrier but feel I get some funny looks. Wondering if he’s too old for this now.

My husband does but I physically couldn’t walk without baby in a carrier 😂 he’s too heavy! If it works for you carry on though, nothing wrong with it!

I use some sort of baby wrap for my big 10 months old I could not use the carrier anymore as just hurts my back so much

I always carry him in a carrier, it makes it so much easier if I'm just popping into the shops etc. He is also in a carrier every day when I take the dog for a walk. People always look when they walk past but I think it's more to do with a cute baby than anything else!

It's not my first choice but I do put her in the carrier sometimes, depending on the situation, like if we're in central London and not in an accessible station. I did also get some odd looks actually now that you mention it 😅

I’m with you! I actually just brought a new one so it’s more comfortable, plus a baby wearing coat. Sometimes it just works best.

God knows why you get some looks for, 10 months is still so young 🥹🥹 I always grab a trolley just because my LG enjoys being in it

Still carrying my LG at 10 months too, I just bought a new baby carrier so she can go on my back. We both love it, dad loves to carry her too, and we’re not planning to stop anytime soon! Do what’s best for you and your little one, a lot of people still carry their toddlers around, I think it’s completely normal! Check out the page Baby wearing UK on Facebook, it’s a great group!

we exclusively carry, haven’t used the pushchair in months!

I baby wear everyday at some point! I’ve never noticed funny looks, often don’t think people have a clue how old young children/babies are! I intend on baby wearing in some way or another until toddlerhood 🤞🏻

I am. Just went on a walk in the woods this weekend wearing mine. I can't wear it as long but managed over an hour. Huge rule of parenting, don't worry what other people think about your choices, otherwise you'll go mad!
