I had spotting at 9 weeks with my 2nd and panicked as I don’t usually get spotting at all its usually totally normal but to be safe ring the maternity hospital and see what they advise, they might ask you to go in for a early scan
I went to the early pregnancy unit due to very light spotting all week, they scanned me and said everything looked okay and healthy. It’s drummed into us so much any kind of bleeding is bad so when it happens we panic but is very common at certain stages of pregnancy. If your worried definitely call xx

I had the same at 6w, it could be many things, call your maternity hospital. They will most likely scan you to investigate the origin of the bleeding. In my case it turned out to be ok and I got to see the baby for the first time, who was then just a little ball with a heartbeat.
